用in London 可以嗎？

The difference between "of London" and "in London":

of London, belonging to London. You are talking about one of the areas among numerous areas that belong to London.

in London, located in London. You are referring to the location of the areas.

Both on London and if London work in your sentence but "of London" is much better than "in London" as the emphasis is on London's areas and not on the location of those areas.

句子討論的不是在倫敦市內的地理的大小或區份的分佈。
而是評論Brixton這區域在倫敦市社會狀況中的位置，所以作者用of London表示「倫敦的」相對給人高尚和繁榮的經濟政治中心那種導向...

如果寫成in London的話，作者指示讀者看見倫敦地圖上Brixton是位處的位置的狀況，未必指向相對倫敦整體的關係。

用preposition可以是死記的法規，但亦是很微妙的技巧變化表達。
