I am a semi-retired psychotherapist and active author who has published in the field of abuse and addictions. I have extensive experience with adolescents as well as abused women and recovering alcoholics and addicts. I have a private practicew in which I work with couples and families as well as adolescents. I dabble in buying and renting real estate. Aside from professional skills, I try to employ common sense which seems to be more valuable than all the theory of how to help people in all the books ever written if you combine it with a genuine knowledge of the subject and deep listening skills.
