When you feel the resistance (to the wind)----subordinate adv. cl of reason
"you should know" that you are flying--------main cl of a complex sentence with its own Subject and predicate--"that you are flying."

When you can feel the resistance from the wind, it's because you're soaring.

You know you're soaring when you feel the wind going against you.

Headwinds get at you only when you're flying free.

Hmm, I fly about 300K miles a year but never felt the headwinds. Just relax and enjoy the rides, up or down.

You feel the resistance, because you soar above the rest.
