一段英語文章 看不太懂 請求翻譯?

我的指導員是一名叫ted的邮務士，他具終身經驗且踏遍整個城鎮。此事可歸類為順序問題，他提出並執行所有我做的步驟從進入分類辦公室開始。〈分類辦公室所做的是將包裹邮件按規定分類)

The postman's duty:-The sorting letters in order should be done step by step in a series of actions ,with a view to effecting a purpose ,of rearranging all letters in order.to despatch properly.

My trainer was a postman by the name of Ted with a life time of experience in doing all the walks in the town. "It was all a question of order", he said and then he ran through the steps I had to take the moment I got into the sorting office.
