c)

had to = must的過去時態動詞

D) would love =

I (had to) go to the dentist yesterday because I had a toothache.
NB。-------have--had--had--
have to do something, have to--had to
=have to,had to;
=expressing obligation or necessity:-
eg:-Do you often have to go to the dentist's ?
The students don't have to go to the dentist, do they ?
They haven't got to go to dentist's.
In various senses as shown in the examples:-
had to=obligation,promise,duty or condition indicates what action ought to be taken,what is right;
Hence--had to (C)
I had (to) go to the dentist yesterday.....
(A) not must ,without (to), not the present tense.
(B) not felt like ,without (to), most unlikely.
(D)nobody "would Love To "toothache, the pain in a tooth or teeth.To regret that it can't be done yourself logically

(A)must → must go:不符時態(yesterday) → X。
(B)felt like → felt like(adv.) v.ph.
(C)had to → had to go:符合時態(yesterday) → ○。※must與have to 兩者,文法上另有學習的重點。
(D)would love to → love(與would, should連用)想要,想做[+to-v][O2] → 不符時態(yesterday) → X。
