It seems like she wears the same exact makeup everyday, with the eyeliner that looks like permanent makeup. I think she wears a bit too much.

Considering the fact that her makeup makes her look like she's twelve when she does in fact look her age without it, I would say yes, she wears too much. The makeup she wore on the show Victorious, however, made her look her own age or slightly older and it wasn't too much then.

She does wear a lot of makeup, but, the thing is that it works on her- it doesn't look weird on her at all. She doesn't need it though because of her natural beauty.

Personally, I do think she does. if you go on Pointlessblog's channel on youtube, he does a video titled 'Ariana Grande does my makeup.' In the video she puts WAY too much makeup on him, which is most likely what she does to herself. Although she does wear quiet a bit of makeup, i do think it works for her.

It’s weird why guys don’t like girls wearing too much of makeup. It’s makes girls curious to know. Therefore can you guess any actress who loves to carry too much of makeup? What do you think about Ariana Grande? She's surely an exciting specimen because she also uses ridiculous colors. We can witness how basically every inch of her face is covered in makeup from the hair down to the neck. Basically, the meaning of "too much makeup" is being caked or layering layers and layers of fiundtaion that seems on like a plastered face with heavy mascara, or raccoon eyes, or a mask of colorful eye shadow.

Personally i think so because i notice there are lots of famous ppl that wear lighter make up and it looks really pretty but i usually only wear eye liner mascara or eye shadow sometimes. I like how i look without it better most of the time.

This is a disheartening yet true example of how women in our society become objectified for certain ideals that they find fitting.
I personally do not feel that there is a black and white, right or wrong way to define how much is too much because when it comes down to it, the answer is up to the one wearing it.
You also need to consider the fact that many A-list celebrities, entertainers, ect. are required to wear an excessive amount of cosmetics for the sake of their image. Again, a bit unfair, but those are the standards that industry promotes.

I wouldn't say she wears too much makeup, but she does have a pretty crappy makeup artist(s), considering the fact that she's a celebrity. If you search online, you can see pictures of her makeup that has been poorly done, even the one for her newest album cover.
Having a bad makeup artist can make you look like you're wearing a lot of makeup as the mess up is a lot more noticeable to the eye when looking from an aesthetic point of view.

As a makeup artist i will say no ... her aim is to look flawless and to be 'perfect' in a sense and being in the public eye as long as her makeup is done well then she can wear as much as she wants ... she has makeup artists anyway so its not like she would have a say in how her managers want her to look.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. In some videos and pictures it seems as though she is wearing alot of makeup. She does know herself better than anyone else in the world, so she may be more self- conscious, due to knowing all of her little imperfections. This does drive people to wear makeup or go to extreme measures just to please others. Her own self- image should only matter to her not everyone one else, who is willing to criticise her because of her songs, personality, looks, etc....Just because she makes almost everyone fell insecure about themselves, does not give anyone the right to tell her what she should and shouldn't do. Has anyone ever seen a photo of her when she wakes up? Probably not because most people are too busy exploiting her. And no, she doesn't wear alot of makeup in the mornings, it varies depending on her day, music video and self interpretation.

If her makeup makes her look YOUNGER how is that too much? Isn't that one of the points of makeup? Granted, 21 is a little young to want to look younger. I'm sure that isn't the goal of her makeup.
