Why can't you wear a ring on your ring finger if your not married/engaged?

It's your finger. Wear whatever you like! Wear 1, two, or three on the same finger, if you want to. As a matter of fact, some girls wear rings on EACH of their fingers, including their thumb (or feet).

My cousin wore a ring on her ring finger everyday, just to let men know she's NOT AVAIL. It's her choice!

You can wear a ring on any finger you want. It is traditionally the left ring finger for wedding and engagement rings, but wear em where you like. I don't have a left ring finger so I wear my wedding ring on my middle finger.

I wear my ring that my boyfriend gave me on my ring finger, nobody thinks I'm married or engaged because of my age. But there's nothing against doing it if you aren't. If people think you are just tell them your not! As long as you aren't wearing a ring that looks like a wedding band or engagement ring you're okay.

I wore my high school ring on my left finger because it fit better. Of course now, I wear my wedding ring now.

You can do whatever your little heart desires! I personally wear a ring on my ring finger because of where I work and it helps ward off the guys when I don't want to be bothered. If someone assumes your married or engaged just correct them! It shouldn't be that big of a deal :)

It's the attitude belief if you're putting on the diamond ring within wedding hand that you're hitched or even involved. Just about all Fingertips tend to be exact same you are able to put on in a hand you prefer.

Its a mind set perception if you are wearing a ring in engagement finger that you are married or engaged. All Fingers are same you can wear in any finger you like.

Why not to wear? :) I always wear rings on my ring finger. And yes most of the time people mistaking me for being engaged but I don't care.
