Is this sentence below correct?
What does "conference call" mean?
How can the sentence be translated into Chinese?
" An initial hearing will be conducted by the duty judicial officer on Monday via a conference call with a time for the hearing yet to be confirmed."

To garlic2010意見001, thanks. The hearing is about two incidents in a rugby match in which a player was cited for punching and striking another player.

"with a time for the hearing yet to be confirmed"寫「聆訊時間仍待確定」是否更接近原文意思。

Any reference to the source of the sentence?

What bothers me is the preposition "with". If I remember correctly (unfortunately, my memory is deteriorating at an exponential rate), I have seen something similar with the preposition "with".
e.g.
He is going on an expedition to the South Pole with date unknown.

I suppose the sentence in the thread is correct.

「聆訊時間仍待確定」 no doubt is a more appropriate translation for "a time for the hearing yet to be confirmed"

conference call和teleconference

I think they are the same. Conference call is more common in spoken English.
