I saw a news about Olmpics, there were many people who couldn't buy the tickets. Then they expressed with the paperboard, it was written : '' Tickets wanted ''. So what is the part of speech of ''wanted'' ? And why it was put at the end of sentence? I'm so confused about this question.
thanks

It is a sentence in passive voice.
The complete sentence is:

Tickets are wanted.

It is common to omit the verb to to be in passive voice sentences when they are used as titles, headings, or slogans.

Taken is the verb of the sentence in passive voice.
It is NOT an adjective.
