我想問呢到點解用was(有)唔用had(有)?用had 唔係都可以解"有"的意思?

This is a metaphor. 隱喻 (一種修辭法)
他的言辭是強有力的激勵。
speech (subject) <===> spur (subject complement)
Therefore, we should use the linking verb (to be) in the above sentence.
