第一部份一定是
The number twelve can be divided by 2, 3, 4, and 6.

第二部份
Mine in a friend of mine is a possessive pronoun, which means belonging to or associated with the person speaking or writing.

The reason why we say a friend of mine/yours/my sister's can be long and unconclusive. But just remember that we always write and speak in this way in English.

unconclusive should be inconclusive.
