建議改為：
I have contacted xxx the contact person and he decided that the inspection date is Dec. 16, 2011.
(即去掉介系詞with；that如不省略，會讓後面的整個名詞子句讀起來更清楚)
2. I have contacted with the contact person and he decided inspection on Dec. 16 2011.

建議改為：

I have contacted xxx the contact person and he set the inspection date for Dec. 16, 2011.

(個人以為此句最合宜) I have contacted xxx the contact person and he decided the inspection date, which is Dec. 16, 2011. 或 I have contacted xxx the contact person and he decided the inspection date－Dec. 16, 2011. (用破折號來表示同位語)

contact是及物動詞，應直接加上受詞，不需要介系詞with。
