簡單的exclude文法問題&contract介系詞

A.個人能瞭解「A產品不包含在合約折扣價中」想要表達的意思，但若能改為「合約折扣不能適用A產品」或「A產品不含在合約折扣價產品當中」句子結構會更精準。如此一來，英文則可說成： The discount in the contract is not applicable to the price of Product A. 或 可精簡成The discount in the contract is not applicable to Product A. 或Product A is not the discounted item included (covered) in the contract. B. exclude可以直接用主動嗎?exclude當主動時，就版大涉及contract 的情境，它的主詞通常是「某事、物」，所以是可用的。The contract excludes Sth…，當被動時就是 Sth is excluded in the contract.只是主動口氣聽起來比被動的強硬許多，就服務顧客的考量，在此還是以較柔和的被動語氣為佳。C. contract前的介系詞用in對嗎?一般稱合約裡用in contract or on contract?介系詞，不能由幾個字就來單論決定該用哪一個，而要看整句前後發生的情境，譬如:
- of the contractThe total cost of the contract is still unknown.We need to look at the specific details of the contract. - in the contractThat information must be included in the contract.Those terms were clearly stated in the contract.(這也是適用版主情境的介系詞in) - on the contractThey declined to comment on the contract.They would like to provide new information on the contract.They spent hours working on the contract.We have to focus on the contract to make the discussion. 2.contract前的介系詞用in對嗎?一般稱合約裡用in contract or on contract?

產品與折扣價同性質事物, 本句用in或on皆不適當, 應改為from, 並應加一個動作:
Product A is excluded from applying the contract discount price.

要用in也可以, 但句子要改為:
Product A is not applicable in the contract discount price.

exclude的用法是:
全體 exclude 個體
個體 is excluded from 全體
個體 is excluded in 場合或地點

主動用法舉例:
The eligible participants excludes the disabled.
有資格參加者不包含殘障人士.

在這裡如對 on/in/of the contract詳加說明, 恐會誤導學習者.
"contract discount price"稱為複合名詞(compound noun), 主體是price, 前二字是依次修飾性質的名詞.

1. exclude若是用人當主詞就可以用主動式, 也就是人+exclude 或者 物 + be excluded

2. contract前面要用in, 這是習慣用法, on contract文義怪怪的(在合約"上面"), in contract(在合約"裡")文義比較通
