英文文法 求解??

exploding-->是the gas tank 的修飾,原句應該還原為 the gas tank which exploded knocked the men down. 然後把which exploded 的which省略 再把exploded 先還原成原型再加ing 至於加ing要去e這個大大應該知道 這種改法我沒弄錯的話應該是叫做分詞構句 但確定是可以這樣改的 ,如果今天修飾的 動詞是被動的話,那省略關代後直接用被動式 例如: The car which was stolen by the thief cost lots of money.→ The car stolen by the thief cost lots of money.

knocked才是主要動詞
blast是主詞
men是受詞
down是受詞補語

更正：gas tank exploding應視為［複合名詞］，即：名詞＋名詞＋動名詞。
也有文法書視前面的兩個名詞為形容詞用法。
