看她的斷句，我想作者想寫成一種詩的感覺吧
I came from Kao-Hsiung
a city with sunshine
and I do love it.

However, I'm going to leave,
working in Taipei
and making my dreams come true.

不曉得這是不是作者想要的感覺，我盡力了！
若有錯誤也請各位大大不吝惜指教

個人覺得在這裡的SUNNY CITY 是高雄的同位語，應該沒有錯吧！^^a

我來自高雄，那個陽光的城市，我愛這裡。
但我即將離開，前往飛翔。
到台北工作。
希望那裡能實現我的夢想。I am from (was born in) Kaohsiung , the sunny city, and I love it. ButI am leaving here. I want to fly to my future and work in Taipei . I hope I can realizemy dreams there. (= I hope Ican make my dreams come true there.)

Hahaha, ', the sunny city' 的確不是 independent clause, 它叫做 phrase, 中間不需要加入which.

用 a/that sunny city 會比較適合，畢竟 The Sunny City 不像 The Windy City 是公認的 Chicago 代名詞，或 The Big Apple/New York.

001 和 002 的回答並沒有錯，為什麼要說他們都不對，並用背景來替自己背書呢？

大概是對自己的答案沒有信心吧。

如果寫成新的句子就必須有主詞，改成逗點和小寫 to 接在上句後面就可以了。


Kaohsiung,the sunny city,沒有錯，或許澳洲academic的寫作沒有教過 parenthetic expression,兩個逗點之間只是附加的說明，形同在括號裡。 不影響句子。

I will be leaving 或 I am leaving都沒錯， 也許你寫 I am leaving 就會有人說 I will be leaving 才對！ ： ）

I come from Kaohsiung which is an energetic city, and I love to stay at. (我來自高雄，　那裡是一個充滿活力的地方，而sunny是充滿陽光的，在英文裡，sunny通常形容氣候和人的個性。)
However, I am leaving soon in order to open a new page of my life.（然而我快要離開了，因為我要開啟人生的新一頁） I am heading to work in Taipei, and I hope this is a place where I can make my dream come true.(我要到台北去，那裡我想是讓我實現夢想的地方)

首先 I m from Kaohsiung,the sunny city,不成立. I am from Kaohsiung是independence clause 獨立子句，　而the sunny city也是不完整的子句，中間要加入which.
英文跟中文不同，不能一個一個硬翻，由於文化不同，使用不同的語言就要有該處的文化特點。

你的第一句:I came from Kao-Hsiung a city with sunshine and I do love it.有點問題:應該是I come from, 不是came ,因為你永遠是從高雄來的, 不能用past tense啊^^, 第二, Kao-Hsiung which is a city.....要加入which is ^^
