I can't believe I've been out of your sight for a month. I'm really grateful of
your waiting.

It was after ten when I got home last night. Exhausted after getting my
luggage set, I hit the sack right ahead.

If you call me via skype, is it possible for me to call back straight?

I visited last Friday the cafe I used to work for and saw the manager and my
former colleagues. You know what? I bumped into one of my primary school
classmates, who is working there. What a coincidence!

說明:
out of your sight : 離開你的視線; 表達兩人關係仍佳的離開.
got home : 回到家, 也可寫hit home, arrived home, returned home等.
hit the sack : 就寢, 也可寫went to bed, hit the hay
right ahead : 直接地
我打的回去嗎? : 這是在問功能而不是請求允許, 所以要用Is it possible for me
to... , 而不是用"can/may I call you back"之類的.
You know what? : 這是口語的起頭語, 預備告訴對方一件會感興趣的事.
bump into : 不期而遇
What a coincidence : 真巧啊!

getting my luggage set有兩種意思, 行前是準備好行李, 回來後是清理好行李.
如要強調回來的清理, 可說getting my luggage cleared up.
