小學英文文法問題

1. (Are) there pets in your flat?
Yes, (there are). There's a dog and a parrot.

2. (Is) your school near your flat?
No, (it's not/it isn't).

來補充一點，我自己覺得第1條有些問題，問的句子應該寫成：
Is there any pet in your flat?
因為這問題的原意是問有沒有寵物在在房子裡，這問題應該被假設為不知道有沒有寵物，所以正確應該用 any pet 的字眼。並由於 pet 不是複數，所以這問題要用 "Is" 作為句首。(there is/there are 在這裡的應是「有」的意思)

而回答的句子應直接寫成：
Yes, there are a dog and a parrot. (因為 a dog 加上 a parrot 已經不再是單數，而是複數，是要用 there are 的，所以應直接這樣寫出來)

現在看來，第1條的回答句子裡，我的回答有些怪怪的，也不知有沒有問題。

第一題第二個括弧無必要再答there are, 因後面已是There's a dog and a parrot, 連續咁答Yes, ( there are). There's a dog and a parrot.會好累贅, 而且文法亦不通.
