How do I change my last name on my Yahoo mail account?

I need to change the full name on my Yahoo mail account because I typed it wrong when I first made the account. I already edited it in the "Account Info" months ago, but till now it still lists the typo name when i email people. How do I really change it?

You cannot pick & choose what you wish to change - if all you need to alter is the name people see you as, THIS is changeable - if you forget your PW & wish Y!s help, enter the incorrect name if asked.Anyway,
Log on/switch to Classic>Options>Mail Options. Drill down to General Preferences. Change your name here.

Other option is to create a new ID.

just keep it aqnad e-mail your friends that you cant change your name or what ever or..... get a new e-mail address and put all your address in it and e-mail everyine that has your e-mail and tell them your new one
