Part 1: (填 v,n,pron,adj,adv)

1) The music business (grow) _grew_ last year. (標明時間~simple past)

2)They attract negative news(cover) _covers_. (負面新聞"封面")

3)The Disney company found a letter (write) _written_by Walt Disney in 1956. (縮短自a letter which was written by...)

4)I like today's (please )_pleasing_weather. (怡人的,+ing變adj.)

5)He took over the (struggle)_struggling_ company and made it sucessful. (陷入苦戰的,+ing變adj.)

6) The economic(recede)_recession_ is causing many people to lose their jobs. (衰退 <= recede的名詞)

7)I can afford these(price)_priced_item. ("標明定價的"物品~ 如果是can’t afford才用priceless[無價的] )

8) The rule state that all (enter)_enteries_ must submit their work before the deadline. (entry [參賽者], enter的名詞; 這裏不止一個參賽者)

Part2: (填preposition or linking word)

1)Figures show that the music business grew last year_for_almost three per cent. (for = 達, grew for = 增長達)

2) The invitation to the party will be made only _to_ selected celebrities. (留意是發邀請"給"名人~ 不是"由"名人發邀請)

3)He wants to work_in / for_ the entertainment industry. (於...工作 / 為...工作)

4)He came_up_with creations that actually worked perfectly. (come up with = 想到)

5)Downloads have taken _on_ a greater importance in the music industry. (take on a greater importance = 變得愈來愈重要)

6) The two entrants did not make it _to_ the final round of the competition. (不能"去到"最後一回合, make it to = 成功去到)

7) The museum is showcasing famous art works from_around / over_the world. (來自全球"各地"; around較常用)
