I walked slowly and carefully along the narrow pathway. In one (1) ______, I held a single flickering torch to (2) _____ my path. In the other, I (3) _____ an old parchment. It was a map to a chamber of treasures.

(5) should be "middle", since it's "In the middle" and "At the centre".

I bet many F.5 students will not get more than 5 correct.
