2) I didn't read any of them<-----------
3) I didn't read either of them<-----------= I didn't read book A nor book B.
4) I only read one of them<----------I only read book A or I only read book B.
In oral English, you may say " I didn't read both of them.
3) is better and 1) is simpler.

For very formal English, we use " neither" in the sentence.
For example, I didn't read neither of them.
