Eat you up 前面一定有一個subject 或 暗示了一個subject, 其意思是, 果樣subject 完全控制住你, 咁解的!!e.g. The frightening emotion has eaten you up. (恐懼已完全控制住你)
e.g. Hey dude, that hottie has already eaten you up, right?? (喂, 那個靚女已深深把你迷住了, 係咪呀??)

Eat somebody up :
To fill somebody with a particular emotion so that they cannot think of anything else.
e.g.
She was eaten up by regrets.
