✔ 最佳答案
1. On 12 February 2008, some residents wrote jointly making a request for the addition of a lift from the G/F to the 3/F podium. After discussion, the Committee recommends conducting a feasibility study for the proposed works.
2. After on-site survey, the Engineer made the following report on the feasibility for various proposed locations:
A. Proposed Location 1
i. The area to be built-over at the G/F carriageway is Government land which needs to be acquired from the Government.
ii. It is necessary to buy certain car-parking spaces which will be occupied by the works. Also, the use of the affected portion of the carriageway cannot be changed without payment of premium to the Government and approval from the Buildings Department due to restriction on permitted plot ratio.
iii. A huge sum of money is involved for the required works including Ground investigation, addition/alteration works to the slope, foundation works, superstructure works, lift installation etc.
B. Proposed Location 2
i. It is necessary to buy the land at the G/F park from ABC Chamber of Commerce.
ii. Due to insufficient width of carriageway and restriction on permitted plot ratio, payment of premium to the Government and approval from the Buildings Department are required to change the use of the carriageway at 3/F podium.
iii. A huge sum of money is involved for the required works including Ground investigation, addition/alteration works to the slope, foundation works, superstructure works, lift installation etc.
C. Proposed Location 3
i. Approvals from the Buildings Department and the Fire Services Department are necessary for the extinguishment of an exit staircase (or a staircase serving as the means of escape).
ii. Required structural alterations to the floors concerned affect the building and slope structures and a huge sum of money is involved.

3. Conclusion
After site survey and assessment of feasibility, our conclusions are as follows:
i. Proposed Locations 1 & 2 - they involve land that does not belong to this Estate and thus the feasibility is considered low.

ii. Proposed Location 3 - the land involved are self-owned but the cancellation of exit staircase and building and slope alterations require approvals from the Buildings Department and the Fire Services Department. Also, the cost of works is very high. Thus, the feasibility is considered low.
