Webpage Status

I want to know how many people read my webpage So I plan to add a webpage status bar. But I search many webpage but never know how to write the html code for that. May I ask if anyone know the html code for that pls? It like a statistic listing out how many people read my page everyday. Thanks for your help :D

You cannot do it with html code. You have to use server-side coding, e.g. asp, asp.net, php,etc. to record the number of visitors because it is only on the server that you can tell when a page is hit.

There are many on-line web statistics services that give you free visitor counter. You need only add a javascript or html code to link to their server. Search the web for "free website visitor counter" or similar wording and there are tons of web sites you can choose from.
