Within these three items, only the Yamaha YDP-101 can be regard as a digital piano. Whereas, the Roland FP-2 and Casio PX-300 are just portable keyboard.
A digital piano is much heavier overall, usually over 150lbs. The benefit of heavy weight is that when you play on it, the whole piano won't shake! One of the major resson to make it heavy is because all keys using weight-action to simulate real piano. Also, please you notice the pedal: this digital piano has three at fixed positions, which has same function as a real grand piano.
The other two do no have weight-action keyboard and they will shake when you play on it. Also, the pedal is a movable one, not good for practising piano. The Roland FP-2 is slightly better than the Casio PX-300 because the Casio is mainly for "one man" portable. The selling point of these two is light weight only. Their major purpose are jamming with band, but not practising piano for examination.
Therefore, if you want to substitute a real piano, the Yamaha YDP-101 is the only choice within these three. But I should remind you that this digital piano doesn't take less place as a real piano, it just come a bit shorter only.
If possible, I suggest a real piano. It is absolutely not a problem to practise piano within 9:00am to 9:00pm and with a closing door.
