They are the same in meaning and usage. The slight difference is that Have is less commanding. For example

Have a seat. vs Take a seat.

Have makes people feel at home while Take is more commanding. But the difference is really slight and depends on the tone of the speaker.

Another example is

Have your homework ready. vs Get your home work ready.

Have is again less compelling.

I have Helen do the jobandI make Helen do the jobare literally the same and you cannot tell which one is more compeling.

Have Helen do the job可能是威迫利誘,乞求,命令Make 有點 by force or power 的意味but again you can use them almost interchangeably.
