亞運英雄凱旋回歸!1. homecoming
嚴格來說Homecoming 本身並沒有welcome的意思。
只要是長期離家的人回來便是homecoming, 無論是受歡迎或不受歡迎。
曾看過一本小說寫一個不受鄰居歡迎的人回到祖家,
也是寫為 the homecoming of xxx.
不過這新聞既然說的是英雄, 當然是歡迎了, 所以中譯可以加入這一層意思
根據字典homecoming的解釋如下:
- A coming to or returning home after being away for a long period of time.
- An annual event at schools, colleges, and universities for visiting graduates.(校友日)

3. cycling track
這裡指的是政府答應興建的室內單車場
原本cycling track可解作單車徑或單車場, 視乎地點是戶外還是室內

Homecoming 是慶祝他人回來（如返回自己的居所/原居地/母校），是to welcome someone back home 的名詞（也可作形容詞用）
