 I am also here for reasons of nostalgia.  After May 4, there will be a dark void on the Internet where Y!A used to be.

I'll start living my life, but until then...

a much better alternative to YA, in my opinion.

I will have lots more time to use productively. I will archive all my questions and answers before they disappear forever.

And I won't be searching for another Q & A site anytime soon.

Finish cataloguing my books for a start!  I took a long break from here but am back for reasons of nostalgia.  Sooner or later I'll get sucked back into a Q&A site but I'm in no hurry in the meantime.

Go to bed. Well, maybe I will go to bed before that. For the next two weeks, I plan to take a break from all social media sites.  I spent too much time on here. I do have a lot to do. I often procrastinated it. Lessee... Change the hydraulic fluid in the tractor, plant the flower boxes, get my papers organized, write a story for my granddaughter, see if I can fix my stepdaughter's lawnmower, and encourage her to actually use it... The list goes on and on and on.

I came here in 2009 and loved it.  Back then there were a lot of perks, you could vote "best answer" on your own questions, etc.  The past 3 or 4 years I've expanded my horizons (aka: got a real life).  

Go to Wikipedia and type in Yahoo Answers.  It will help you understand what the reasons were for starting it all.  Go to YouTube and read some really funny questions and answers.

Watch the sun rise... on a grateful universe.

Or just move to Quora.

I guess I'll have to move on.
