What about living forever right here in earth?

Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5:5: “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the Earth.” Psalm 37:11 and 29 confirm Jesus’ statement when it says in 37:29 they shall reside forever on it (the earth).

Live forever in hell? Hell and death are emptied and thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur. No one is left in hell when hell is thrown into the lake of fire. See Revelation 20:13-15. All wicked/unrepentant people are thrown into the lake of fire in Revelation 21:8. Satan the Devil is thrown into the lake of fire. He is not thrown into Hell. See Revelation 20:10. What happens in the lake of fire? Anything thrown into the lake of fire is “no more,” doesn’t exist. Death was thrown into the lake of fire in verse 21:4 where it says death is “no more.” No one will continue to be hurt by Satan the Devil because he doesn’t exist anymore. This happens at the end of the thousand-year reign of Christ. The Thousand-year reign of Christ begins at the end of Armageddon when people are resurrected back to the earth and attain perfection by the end of the thousand-year reign. Satan is then let loose from the abyss or bottomless pit or prison that he and the other bad angels were locked up in. See Revelation 20:3. So, no one will be in hell forever. Satan is never put into hell. We’ve all been lied to by the churches for hundreds of years. One more thing: one of the two meanings for the Greek word for “torment” in the book of Revelation means “locked up” like in jail. That’s what happens to Satan the Devil in Revelation 20:10, when he’s thrown into the lake of fire. Locked up forever. He is “no more” from 21:4. Doesn’t exist and never will exist ever again.

Living in heaven forever? That’s for Jehovah God to decide.

(Psalm 37:9-11) “ 9 For evil men will be done away with, But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth.  10 Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there. 11 But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”

(Psalm 37:29) “29 The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.”

This is where I want to live forever.

I have NO desire to LIVE for EVER ,,, there is no convincing supportive  evidence any PERSON  or  consciousness ( a product of the brain )  of a person is immortal . nor for me to date  any convincing  supportive evidence of any god propositions to BE the CASE
.. thus the NOTION  of eternity is not  an attraction   rather that of  LONELINESS ...HEAVEN and HELL are  propositions  presented by  PEOPLE ....they are  concepts  with some variation  in both THEISTIC and NON THEISTIC  religions
the SOURCE of such notions are PEOPLE  and their  promoted TEACHINGS forming BELIEF and   formed in a FEAR BASED perspective   In the USA 7 in 10 people  believe ( our convinced )  in a HELL ..the  investigating question based on WHAT  information . what convinced them,.
. the FORMATION  of BELIEF has two means  SELF GENERATED BELIEF  ( own thoughts experiences experiment and generalization )    EXTERNALLY GENERATED ( what others TELL us experts  people who study issues Canon - unchallenged assertions  AUTHORITY  - not experts these people  are managers parents  priest  and are  about their POSITION in society or charisma  People who believe authority are followers  they actually value and BELIEVE IN the SANCTITY  of  POSITION  " STATUS " than demonstration of a proposition to be the case ( power )
FACT  it is PEOPLE  who claim to be TALKING for their " god(s)  hearing from their god(s) ...yet not a independent self evident god to date  which goes to POSITION of authority ...not investigation demonstration knowledge

for the majority of PEOPLE EMOTIONALLY  there  is a desire for PLEASURE  that indicates  a characteristic of HUMANS  that  pleasure is desirable to PAIN .... that being the case  does not demonstrate any religious proposition of hell or heaven to be " THE CASE "

PSYCHOLOGY  the PAIN PLEASURE PRINCIPLE  is the core of all our decision making  people seek pleasure  to REWARD ourselves  with immediate gratification  based on HEDONISM  the idea that life is to be lived to the  full and pleasure  sought as a primary goal

PLEASURE and PAIN  are basic principles in CONDITIONING    ... Pain can be  more immediate than pleasure

religion which is a cultural system of directed behaviors and practices by socialized organization    uses the ANTICIPATION of pleasure or pain in the propositions  because they are as  almost a POWERFUL motivator  as the FELLING themselves a promotion to occur in the " future " as a teaching not a demonstration  of actual  ....

I don't want to live forever.  I am punching my own ticket at 85 if I am still here.  Heaven and Hell are artificial constructs to keep the feeble minded in line.

well if they exist neither because neither sounds that inviting

When we were created it was to inhabit the earth. If you have a Bible read  Genesis  1: 28 "Further, God blessed them, and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving on the earth"

God's purpose for man has not changed. Psalms chapter 115  verse 16 says  "As for the heavens, they belong to Jehovah, But the earth he has given to the sons of men". What a beautiful gift to man. Jehovah promises soon at Psalm 37: 10 &11 and Revelation 21: 3-5 that the earth will be different soon.

The Lords prayer at Matthew chapter 6 verses 9 and 10 says:

(9) "You must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. (10 ) Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth".

So i want to live on earth under God's Kingdom.  Learn more about this at www.jw.org

Theoretically, heaven of course. But if it means having to worship God everyday, and do the same routine activities for eternity, then I’d rather not lol.

As far as I know, there has yet to be any shred of evidence for the existence of heaven and hell, so it really doesn’t matter which I prefer. We’ll all have the same fate in the end.

With God, on New Earth like he said, in New Jerusalem. Like he said. Not Heaven or Hell, Hell is in the Lake of Fire by that time. Do you see how more complicated it is when you stop just believing what you heard someone say, rather than finding out for yourself by reading the source text??

I want to live forever in a land where people don't engage in fantasies about living forever.

Heaven, of course, but the way things are going I'll be lucky to arise in the Terrestrial resurrection and receive its inferior, but still glorious, reward.

God created the earth so humans could live on it forever. And I am looking forward to living forever on earth. I am sure this seems impossible, but after doing my own personal research of the Bible I learned that this is going to happen, and soon.

Where would you want to live until then? In a beautiful house or in a blast furnace?

Anyone wanting hell is a fool. nothing good there unless you don't believe in god and eternal life.. heaven is the only place we all should want to go to.If you really feel your going to have fun in hell than again your a fool, torture daily forever is not fun.One way on no way out

Hell as a place of torment is a very big lie because this lie dishonors God and scares people. Hell is a grave of mankind, nothing more....

God never thought of torment people in the fire. Think about it: to burn people forever! If someone does something like this nowadays people will say that he is sadist. Satan wants people to think about God that He is cruel and not fair. Satan said to Adam and Eve: “You certainly will not die." (Genesis 3:4). So he invented the lie that people don't die and that their souls live forever!

Why won't God let them die? So God can't end their life, can He? Why they live forever if they are evil? Why God can't end their life? People who believe in lie that fire hell exists, think that God can't eliminate them... No, He can!!! He said to Adam and Eve: "But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die."(Genesis 2:17). HE DIDN'T SAY: YOU WILL BE BURNING! No, He say only: YOU WILL DIE!!! If He didn't warn about the fire hell.... was it fair to say: you will die, if don't obey,.. but then put them into the fire? God could not do so! If He said that they would die, it meant that they died and nothing else...

When Jews burnt their alive children in the fire, God was shocked and said: "They have built the high places of Toʹpheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinʹnom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, something that I had not commanded and that had never even come into my heart.’"(Jeremiah 7:31). If He said that such mind had never even come to His heart, COULD HE CREATE THE HELL or use it for punishment? No!

And the last.... People are created so that they can't feel anything after their death:

"For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all,....there is no work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the Grave, where you are going."(Ecclesiastes 9:5,10). The Bible says that people are the souls, and after death they feel nothing.
And the punishment for evil persons is death. "For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord."(Romans 6:23). Only righteous people can live forever, and all evil people and angels will die, they will not exist anywhere and anymore....

I’ve always wanted to live in a home and watch the grass grow watch the animals play, does God mind if we look up in the sky?

Heaven - I've already done my time in hell.
2021-04-18 11:53 am
Well, considering you are unconscious while in hell, and hell is only temporary, I don't think you understand the situation (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10; Revelation 20:11-15).

Heaven, and a person can be certain of eventually getting there if he perseveres to death in true devotion to the Virgin Mary.
2021-04-18 2:32 am
I'd much rather go to heaven given that those are the only two options.  If it was such that we got to choose our afterlife,  I think I'd prefer not to exist anymore unless I could go where my loved ones went.

That's a loaded question. It controversially and without provided foundation assumes I want to live forever. It also controversially and without provided foundation assumes those are the only choices or even choices at all, even if you'd provided foundation that living forever were possible and had provided foundation I were to want to live forever.

My natural desire is to leave on earth. This according to,God original purpose for the. Psalms 37:29 The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it. 30 The mouth of the righteous one imparts wisdom, And his tongue speaks about justice.

Hell
The word is used in the King James Version (as well as in the Catholic Douay Version and most older translations) to translate the Hebrew sheʼohlʹ and the Greek haiʹdes. In the King James Version the word “hell” is rendered from sheʼohlʹ 31 times and from haiʹdes 10 times. This version is not consistent, however, since sheʼohlʹ is also translated 31 times “grave” and 3 times “pit.” In the Douay Version sheʼohlʹ is rendered “hell” 64 times, “pit” once, and “death” once.

In 1885, with the publication of the complete English Revised Version, the original word sheʼohlʹ was in many places transliterated into the English text of the Hebrew Scriptures, though, in most occurrences, “grave” and “pit” were used, and “hell” is found some 14 times. This was a point on which the American committee disagreed with the British revisers, and so, when producing the American Standard Version (1901) they transliterated sheʼohlʹ in all 65 of its appearances. Both versions transliterated haiʹdes in the Christian Greek Scriptures in all ten of its occurrences, though the Greek word Geʹen·na (English, “Gehenna”) is rendered “hell” throughout, as is true of many other modern translations.

Concerning this use of “hell” to translate these original words from the Hebrew and Greek, Vine’s Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words (1981, Vol. 2, p. 187) says: “HADES . . . It corresponds to ‘Sheol’ in the O.T. [Old Testament]. In the A.V. of the O.T. [Old Testament] and N.T. [New Testament], it has been unhappily rendered ‘Hell.’”

Collier’s Encyclopedia (1986, Vol. 12, p. 28) says concerning “Hell”: “First it stands for the Hebrew Sheol of the Old Testament and the Greek Hades of the Septuagint and New Testament. Since Sheol in Old Testament times referred simply to the abode of the dead and suggested no moral distinctions, the word ‘hell,’ as understood today, is not a happy translation.”

In the hearts and minds of my loved ones. That is where we all end up.

Heaven ofc. why would someone want to live in hell
2021-04-18 2:53 am
Well gee.  Heaven where I have my own dwelling place and can fellowship with my Lord.  Or an eternal hellfire and complete aloneness.  I don't think it's hard to choose.
