Are these sentence correct (or do they make sense):
a) "I was racketeered."
b) "I was cheated."
Note: By this, I mean that someone (or some people) got money from me in a deceitful way.
Native English speakers, could you please help me with these issues?

I was cheated. You could say I was cheated by racketeers but not I was racketeered.
