"I don't doubt that all professional sport is rife with pigs, Neanderthals, and other semi-civilized types. Nor do I doubt that there are a lot of people in positions of authority in pro sports who deserve to be thrown out on their ears for their behavior. However considering that Yahoo is likewise rife with "journalists" who are more concerned with being "woke" than anything else, I think I will go to a couple actual news sources before making up my own mind as to the extent and severity of the misbehavior, and whether or not torches and pitchforks are appropriate, as Ms. Negley suggests."

OK Gibbs. And you are saying that NOBODY at ANY TIME in ANY PLACE deserves to be attacked? In other words, nobody should have any comments made about them that are less than glowing, otherwise they qualify as "an attack" and must be censored? Give me a break.

I put the question to you, mars. If somebody behaves like a pig, or a Neanderthal, according to you, pointing that out is "offensive?" I guess in 2021 America, being inoffensive is more important than being accurate.
