We are definitely living in the last days. Looking around at all of the crazy things happening we see evidence of this. People are divided, showing so much hatred towards each other. Sickness, pestilence and hunger. Etc. Check out the brief article linked below. It will show you from your own Bible proof that we are living in the last days.

The END will come on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time).

Yes, the Rapture can take place at any moment now. The Biblical signs are clear for Jesus' return and the Rapture must precede it. Many Christians are 'Rapture ready' others need to awaken from their comatose state. Read [Matthew 24-25]; [Mark 13]; [Luke 21].

Famines are predicted to increase due to the Coronavirus, and locusts swarming across the Middle East and Africa. However, Jesus mentions plagues or pestilence explicitly in [Luke 21]. Can we ignore this global pandemic? No.

Numerous biblical texts speak of disturbances in the creation that disorient and trouble people. These disturbances have quite a range with earthquakes, floods (we are seeing a steady increase in the frequency and strength of them), and global warming. What are the effects of global warming: Scientists agree that the earth’s rising temperatures are fuelling longer and hotter heat waves, more frequent droughts, heavier rainfall, and more powerful hurricanes, tropical floods, wildfires, etc.

Not to forget the present abundance of “lawlessness” -- unruly behavior (lack of discipline and respect) pervasive violence.
Shutdowns all over the world brought the global economy to a standstill. We can see how the pandemic restrictions disrupted church attendance and corporate worship (globally). Are people blind?

According to religious people we are *always* in the end times.

The "end times", according to Jesus, began with the destruction of the temple in 70 AD.  That marked the end of the previous covenant, and the beginning of what would be the final covenant between God and man.  That was the "last age" or "end times" according to God because it is his last covenant.

Jesus told us exactly how long that "last times" would be.  They will last until the gospel is being preached in every nation.  Currently there are still over 50 countries in which it is illegal to preach the gospel.  So the end has not come yet.

Biblically we're told that the 'last days' began with Christ's return to Heaven. Before 70 A.D. Christians were told, "but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son". Those 'last days' have been running for nearly 2,000 years so far, yet are called 'days' and not 'years'. When 1,000 years occurs in the Bible, that is a symbolic number, not a literal one.

In the Book of Revelation, that truth holds fast. We need to pay attention to the build-up of wars, plagues, famines and hatred against Christ's people as precursors to the final harvest of the earth, Christ's people being reaped safely, then the gathering of the earth's vine for crushing. Then the final 'seven last plagues' are poured out by seven angels, to mark the completion of God's wrath. It will be too late then for those not gathered in by the angels immediately prior to the gathering in of earth's ripe grapes. "The grapes of wrath". Have a read of chapters 14 & 15.

But read with the understanding that everything is symbolic, not literal. The dragon's beasts are not animals but systems. Babylon the Great, which God's people must flee, is both a symbolic harlot, and a great city - satan's religious and political systems. For as long as you listen to people talking about a literal 3.5 years, and a literal 1,000 years etc, you will not understand.

It is not within your grasp to know the times that God has set because His Prophecies are revealed. Therefore, everything will have its time!

I advise you to be prepared when His judgment comes if you don't want to end up in hell!

In about one billion years, the solar luminosity will be 10% higher than at present. This will cause the atmosphere to become a "moist greenhouse", resulting in a runaway evaporation of the oceans. As a likely consequence, plate tectonics will come to an end, and with them the entire carbon cycle.[13] Following this event, in about 2–3 billion years, the planet's magnetic dynamo may cease, causing the magnetosphere to decay and leading to an accelerated loss of volatiles from the outer atmosphere. Four billion years from now, the increase in the Earth's surface temperature will cause a runaway greenhouse effect, heating the surface enough to melt it. By that point, all life on the Earth will be extinct.[14][15] The most probable fate of the planet is absorption by the Sun in about 7.5 billion years, after the star has entered the red giant phase and expanded beyond the planet's current orbit.[16]

No, all of that is horseshit.

The end has been nigh since humans have conceived of an end times. It is unpredictable and certainly not biblical. Our civilization may collapse but the planet will still be here. In 5 billion years the sun may expand into a red giant and destroy Earth but the universe will barely notice. We aren't that important.

Nope.

People have been predicting the end times since the crucifixion. Christ's apostles probably believed they would live to see it. The last time the end times got really roaring was in the 17th century.  I'm not talking about a feverish cult here and there, but a fairly widely accepted viewpoint.  In fact in England, the execution of King Charles I in 1649 was thought by many to be necessary to usher in the end times.

Of course it hasn't happened and probably will not. However, environmentalists have been predicting the end times due to global cooling, global warming, climate change, carbon emissions, nuclear holocaust, germ warfare, melting glaciers, swine flu, AIDS, and covid-19.  And this is only within the last 40 or so years.  Notice a pattern?  Right, nuts will always be with us. But who knows?  Maybe the biggest sign of the imminent end times is the shutting down of Yahoo Answers.

Bible scriptures are telling us we are living in the last times. In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here.” (2 Timothy 3:1) Bible prophecy, combined with current events, identifies our time as “the last days.” Below is just some of the Bible fulfillment of the last days.

Famine.—Matthew 24:7; Revelation 6:5, 6.

Great earthquakes.—Luke 21:11.

Pestilences, or epidemics of “terrible diseases.”—Luke 21:11, Contemporary English Version.

Increase of crime.—Matthew 24:12.

Ruining of the earth by mankind.—Revelation 11:18.

We have almost completed Bible prophecy of the last days. I cannot predict that it will be another 1000 years before the end, however, if you read the necessary occurrences that must occur we are very, very close to the end.
2021-04-17 7:48 am
No.  There will most likely never be an end times, as such.  We'll face crises from time to time, but nothing short of something like a big asteroid strike will really wipe us out.  As for an end times as in a second coming, no--that will never happen.  People 200 years from now will still be waiting for it.
2021-04-17 3:13 am
Biblically the end times started at the day of Pentecost.  How long it will last is unknown
2021-04-17 3:10 am
Nah, not yet.  A lot of change lies ahead, but not the end of our species or the planet....not for a long, long time.
2021-04-17 7:34 pm
The biblical "endtimes" began when Jesus finished his work here. Humanity has lived in the endtimes ever since.

Jesus is the author of the OT prophesied New Covenant of God which replaced the OT Old Covenant.
2021-04-17 3:28 am
Yes, we do.  The four horsemen are history, Rev. 14:6 has been fulfilled, and we are in the events of the fifth or sixth seal of the Book described in the Revelation.

The following are some outstanding features of last-days, or end-times, prophecies:

War on a large scale.—Matthew 24:7; Revelation 6:4.

Deterioration of people’s attitudes, as shown by many who are “unthankful, disloyal, . . . not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride.”—2 Timothy 3:1-4.

Breakdown of the family, with people who have “no natural affection” and children who are “disobedient to parents.”—2 Timothy 3:2, 3.

Love of God growing cold in most people.—Matthew 24:12.

Noteworthy displays of religious hypocrisy.—2 Timothy 3:5.
Increased understanding of Bible prophecies, including those related to the last days.—Daniel 12:4.

Global preaching of the good news of the Kingdom.—Matthew 24:14.

Widespread apathy and even ridicule toward the evidence of the approaching end.—
Matthew 24:37-39; 2 Peter 3:3, 4.

The simultaneous fulfillment of all these prophecies, not just a few or even most of them.—Matthew 24:33.

There will be no biblical end times nor any other times that the bible will be a part.  That is just yet another bible claim made by the persons who compiled the bible to frighten the gullible into submission.  End times is just another cult claim.

The answer is no.
Only liberal snowflakes ask with this question because they live in Candyland.
Think how people lived 100, 500 or 1000+ years ago when they had literally nothing, constant wars and all kind of brutal killer diseases like the Bubonic Plague.

Yes, but nobody knows how long they will last. Could be millions of years.

Excellent question. Here’s the truth:  We’re deep into the End Times (Last Days), 2 Tim 3:1-5. Close to the Great Tribulation, Matthew 24:21-22. Then quickly occurs Armageddon, Rev 16:16. Satan is locked up which begins the 1000-year reign right here on earth, Rev 20:2-3. Then Satan is let loose for a short time, Rev 20:7-9. Then Satan is destroyed in the lake of fire and sulfur, Rev 20:10. Then peace and security forever right here on earth. Matt 5:5, Psalm 37:11, 29. See JW.org bottom of lead page, “Request a Visit.” Never a cost.
2021-04-17 11:48 pm
Yes. I will make sure of it.
2021-04-17 12:50 pm
Yes we are. Christians that know the Bible know we have been in the end times for the last 10 years or so, but even non religious people can feel that now.

Since I tend to do my own research instead of believing others I studied the Bible and pulled "end times signs". I found about 30 of them. Then I researched the news and current events, and I found 29 of them are happening today.

For example, Matthew 24 says in the end times earthquakes would increase like birth pains (growing in frequency and intensity). If you go to Google images and type "earthquake frequency" charts will show up of the last 20 to 30 years and you see an steady growth of both.

I did the same with the other 28 signs. Same findings.

Once the judgments hit it will come like an avalanche. He keeps delaying it because of His mercy to give people time to repent.

He allowed the pandemic as a "wake up people" calling. Some did and repented. Some did not. But there is another plague coming (Revelation 6) and this Covid will be like kindergarten stuff.

Will humanity be erased? No. Life will continue. But it is the end of the church age and the life we are used to.

After what I have learned I tell people all the time to repent and read the Bible. Seek His face for hell is real and this is not a game or a joke. Use your time wisely. He does not need you, but without Him you have no hope.

I leave you with this scripture, one of the 28, and you tell me if you think this sentence that was written 2,000 years ago describes what we see on the news today:

2 Timothy 3
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power.

I think we're living in the end time.  The end time was ushered in when Jesus was on earth.  It might last thousands of years more.  The way we measure time is not the way God measures it.
2021-04-17 8:05 pm
You're just like a child on a road trip:
Child: "Are we there yet?"
Mom: "No, we're 20 mins into a seven hour trip to France"
30 mins later
Child: "Are we there yet?"
Mom: "Shut up and eat sweets!!!"

You won't make it to the end of times, as you're lifespan is too short.
2021-04-17 4:28 pm
no proof your so called end times will ever happen
2021-04-17 3:45 pm
read what the bible says. Chris never spoke of the end of the world, but rather the end of the age. Specifically at the Olvet Discourse, his disciples asked "when shall these things be?", pertaining to the destruction of the Temple, and "what shall be the sign of your coming and the end of the (age)?". Look it up, the greek word is more appropriately defined as "age". Regardless he goes into a litany of things that will happen, some things seemingly indicate worldwide cataclysm, but the bible often relates calamity and tragedy in terms of apocalyptic imagery. The key is here, when he says that when you see these things beginning to happen (Matthew ch.24), know the time is near, at the very doors. Then he caps it all "Verily I say to thee, this generation will not pass until _all_ these things are fulfilled. Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my words will not pass away". In other words, he was speaking the truth in the most emphatic terms. He told them all those things would take place in THEIR lifetime. He was speaking to THEM, living in the FIRST CENTURY.

Whenever Jesus talks about his coming, "in the clouds", etc., he always says (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) "AND ***THEY*** SHALL SEE...". He NEVER tells his disciples that THEY THEMSELVES will see. Huh. Are you kidding? When Jesus comes back, his OWN DISCIPLES won't see him? No, they won't. Because again he's speaking in Old Testtament Apocalyps-speak. Remembere the word apocalypse simply means to Reveal, as in the book fo the Apocalypse, the REVELATION of St. John. When the Pharisees asked him "We adjure you by God, tell us if you're the Son of the Blessed". He said "I am, and henceforth YOU WILL ***SEE*** me coming with clouds". They "saw" his coming, the calamity he prophesied, as an affirmation of who He said he was.

Stop looking for the End of the World. It's taught by people with a 3rd grade understanding of the bible who refuse to learn anything else. The world will in fact end when you die though. Something to keep in mind.
2021-04-17 4:36 am
That is my belief.
2021-04-17 3:49 am
Yes. It may be closer than we think. There is strong reason to believe that the seventh seal was opened on April 6, 2000. Christ is to come shortly after the opening of the seventh seal. This is relative since each seal is a thousand years. Those who will be spared to live in the millineum are not just self proclaimed Christians but are those who are honorable people, many of whom are not religious. In time all will come to know Christ.

Christ said that we would not know the day or hour but to watch for the signs of the times. The time gets closer as the world becomes more wicked and rebellious against God. Like other societies that fell, acceptance of homosexuality and other sexual sins is rampant. Hatred, contempt and a lack of integrity is also rampant in the world, even on this site. Though we are not yet at a point where we would accept cannibalism. The question is, how bad will it get? When the people no longer listen to reason, God sends calamities in an effort to humble the people.

There are two end times events. First was the end times for the Jewish System of things when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 C.E. and now the End Times are upon us and is the end of this ungodly system of things we live in now, Christ Jesus can return now at any time.
2021-04-19 1:38 pm
we live in end times constantly

Yes.  The Earth as we know it will change dramatically in the decades ahead.  Be useful to humanity and turn your attention to the climate instead of ancient BS about the "end of times".

The "end time" prophecies have been claimed to be occurring in every year for the last 2000 some years. My mother was sure we were in the end times since 1966, 1967, 1976 and 1977 (mostly because of the numerical significance of 6 and 7). I'll probably be around for another 30 or so years, check back with me then and likely it still will not be the "end times"
2021-04-18 2:31 am
Well in human terms no  God promises Jews many joyful generations in Judah we he returns them Isaiah 60:15. Since May 14 1948 was the beginning their will be many more generations
2021-04-17 10:43 pm
Is that what you're waiting to hear from a human before you "Get right with God and WORD"?  If you are, may I suggest that you're already too late.  This is not some sort of "waiting game" we play off until our last breath and expect that God will be waiting with open arms.

And if you are truly concerned, shouldn't you be deep in God's Word, rather than here listening to 25% of those who are lost and bound for Satan in the first place.

No, the "End Times" doesn't have to be in the next decade or 1000 years from today, if we adhere to God's plan beginning today,  But it starts with you and me.  It starts with the next temptation you come against and instead of opening that porn site, or cussing a friend or parent or teacher, or it starts with the next time a person lights up the marijuana joint, or the injection needle, or the next time you pass a homeless person on the sidewalk.....When God sees that WE SEE, I'm betting God will be pleased with our path in life and no matter if the world ends today, what does the rest of it matter if we are promised a better form of life beyond this one.
2021-04-17 5:43 pm
Why have Christians rejected any idea of a loving god and now worship death and destruction, pain and suffering? No wonder Pew News reports Christianity is shrinking with a corresponding rise in atheism and five times as many Americans in 2014 said they never prayed compared to those asked the same question in the 1980s!

lol no. Man has been through and survived diseases and plagues and sh*t a lot worse than coronavirus. Covid really is just a little cold virus compared to some other things.
2021-04-17 8:56 pm
The end times began with the death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus.  We are told that the great tribulation will take place before Jesus returns.  The great tribulation is the cleansing of the earth of all evil (read Isaiah 24).

Daniel 8: speaks of the destruction of the temple in Jerusalen which took place in 70 CE. It further says Unto two thousand, three hundred days then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.  In Bible prophecy a day stands for a year (Numbers 14:34; Ezekiel 4:6)

When Jesus died for all mankind and his blood spilled on the earth, the earth became the sanctuary for the forgiveness of the sins of all those on earth.  The destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in 70 CE + 2,300 years = 2370 CE.  That's just 350 years away.

Jesus said:  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall shaken.  Then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming ib the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matt 24:20-30.
2021-04-17 7:52 am
Yes, because biblically the end times are the time from Jesus ascension until He returns in glory.
2021-04-17 3:11 am
The "End Times" started at the Bubonic Plague and continue 666 years.
Yes, that's what the  "Messianic Prophesies" are all about. World events (current events and wars) can only be explained by bringing up the "Antichrist". I believe that's the only way to understand what's going on in the world, with epicenter in the Middle East. The sun's rising in the West (the dominance and destructiveness of Modern Western Civilization) may be a sign of the End Times.
2021-04-17 8:09 pm
The Bible says a person's life-span is 70 years minimum... up to 80 if they have the strength... and up to 120 max. No one lives past 120. If they die before their time is up, it's Satan's doing: Satan comes ONLY to steal, kill and destroy.

Now there is a prophesy that says the end will come within one lifetime of the rebirth of Israel as a nation. Israel was reborn in 1948 (after wandering the earth for almost 1900 years without a place to call their own). Obviously they came back to the land God promised them after all this time to set the stage for the end.

1948 + 70 years was 2018

So it seems the world still has some strength.

2028 will be 80 years.... that's the average lifespan.

The maximum would be 2068... in that year it will be the outside of the lifespan possible. So basically we expect to be taken up anytime within the next 47 years to meet Jesus and his heavenly armies - then we come back to fight the demonic forces and the antichrists to put an end to all this wickedness once and for all.

God will renew the earth at that time, and it will be like the garden of God again.
2021-04-17 9:52 am
Bible prophecies about the "end times" started to be fulfilled in 1948 when Israel became a nation again. Many more have been fulfilled since.
In Matthew 24 Jesus gives us the "end time" events that will happen.
Jesus also gives us the time period for these events.

Matthew 24:34 “Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.”
2021-04-17 4:19 am
In harmony with Peter’s urging, we should let the prophetic word serve us as a lamp shining in a dark place, illuminating our hearts. If we ‘pay attention’ to it by allowing it to guide us in all affairs of life, it will conduct us safely until that grand day when the “daystar,” the Lord Jesus Christ, reveals himself in all his magnificent glory. (Compare Revelation 22:16.) The revelation of the Son of God will spell destruction for the faithless ones and the bestowal of grand blessings on his devoted disciples. (2 Thessalonians 1:6-10) Surely the hope that is bound up with the fulfillment of the prophetic word should encourage us to do our utmost to be found standing as approved before our Lord at his revelation.—Luke 21:34-36.
24 In fact, the entire prophetic word contained in the Holy Scriptures needs to be given sober consideration and allowed to guide our life. The very nature of the prophetic word, the way it came to be written, should fill us with confidence respecting the future. Jehovah’s prophets did not evaluate certain trends in human affairs and then make predictions based on their personal interpretation of these developments. The prophecies were not the conclusions that the prophets themselves reached after making a careful analysis of the then-existing conditions. No, the prophets had their minds stimulated by the holy spirit and were moved to express God’s message. The apostle Peter continued: “You know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.” (2 Peter 1:20, 21) Because true prophecy does not originate with error-prone humans but with our all-wise Creator, we know that all prophecies set forth in God’s Word will be fulfilled.
