Could strangers in public really go crazy and pull out a gun if you correct them?

If you say something to the wrong person such as if you tell them they are cutting someone or doing something wrong when it doesn’t affect you, I was told people are crazy now a days that they could end up pulling out a gun or killing you because you didn’t mind your own business where it doesn’t affect you. Is this true? Could people really go crazy and pull out a gun if you say something to them to correct

Some strangers may do that.

People have been shot over parking spaces and for not picking up their dog's waste so yeah,,, getting shot for correcting someone is very much a possibility.

some crazies do stuff like that, so they can kill the first person who challenges them. I remember back in the day in NY on the subway, a cop told a guy to turn down his boom box and the guy pulled out a gun and shot him dead.

Yes, anyone is allowed to own a gun in America.
