Local Fox news channels try to be fairly decent, but the national "news" feed is highly questionable and definitely not objective. The sin in this case would be bearing false witness or lying and given that Fox is a fairly large organization, it would only be the ones that knowingly lied that sinned -- well many others might have sinned because of pride or other things, but mostly the job of news media is to be objective.

Only God can judge someone as being sinful.  Considering that the Prince was almost 100 years old has recently been hospitalized for an existing heart condition, I seriously doubt the statement to be true.  This is a low blow even for Fox.
