Well since "Command and Coquer" has been around since floppys were, yeah "Optimus" has your answer, I'm pretty sure of it?

My brother played all those games.
Trying to think of other games by name, running a blank, but sure that if "Command" was in the title and for PC, that's it.

sounds to me like a game that doesn't have command in the title, but i'll make the obvious my first guess, the classic, command and conquer?
what i think it might be was this old classic, not really a wargame, but i still hold fondness for it

btw you can give more details  for instance years when you played it, or was released etc...the visual perspective  wether it was turn based or real time etc etc
