Young people do not understand what coming into a LOT of money means nd mostly blow it all. Older folks pay of bills and donate a Lot of it.
Not as worried about supporting oneself once they get old or retire.
I never once thought it would be difficult to find work, not until I got older anyways and realized physically at least. There are not as many jobs I can do. You see the world suddenly start getting smaller, more limited, so you start worrying about the future more and how well you'll be able to live.
Even starting young, things happen, that generation, the over 50 you are targeting. Millions of them lost everything they had been building for in 08 and the decade that followed. Retirement saving and investments wiped out, millions and millions lost their homes, their jobs, everything. The economy, regardless of how wonderful it has been, Average wages still haven't climbed from where they were, in the 1990's. Yet the cost of everything has gone up. We have an entire generation coming up on retirement with very little, if any in the bank. There was recently a story about it, someone in the media finally talking about it. But it has been a known from early on in the Obama years.
Older people have more money, they've been working for years.
