What is the exact definition of "arms" in the Second Amendment?

For any constitutional originalist, arms includes everything from mace to an arsenal of nuclear weapons.

it is vague.  the Supreme Court has worked on definitions over the decades.  note that area of effect weapons [grenades] are NOT included.]
