can I leave my air fryer unattended ?

I want to start my air fryer dehydrating beef jerky at 150 degrees for 5 hrs. Can I safely leave it on for 4 hrs while I am away? with a normal dehydrator I would have no doubt it would be safe but not sure about this unit.

Leaving ANY cooking appliance running unattended is dangerous.

If you have reservations, put the air fryer in a dry sink, in case it goes Boom.
Also keep in mind that when dehydrating, humidity in the house and outside will have an affect on the timing, so 5 hours may not be enough time.
Personally I don't like to leave my house when Anything is cooking, even a crock pot-but that is just me.

I would not leave an air fryer unattended for four hours.
In fact, mine won't do that as it has an auto-shut-down for safety.
Five hours? That seems like an awfully long time for a convection oven. Safety aside, the first time I did this I'd want to be around so I could monitor progress.
The NinjaFoodi recipe is 180F for two hours.
