The formula I'm used to says
r = [n*sum(xy) - sum(x)*sum(y)] divided by
sqrt{[n*sum(x^2) - (sum(x))^2]*[n*sum(y^2) - (sum(y))^2]}.
Of course the sum(x) is n*average x and the sum(y) is n*average y.
Plug and chug !! and then don't forget you're asked for r^2.
