Why are Asians blamed for coronavirus in the US?

Even worse, why are they harassed, beat up, and yelled at? They get told they’re carrying the Chinese virus, as if ALL Asians had anything to do with the virus. Before the pandemic, Asians almost never had to fear for their safety while going about their daily lives.

The whole situation with asian people is stupid as ****, it started as a troll and people started to take it literally which shows how stupid we can be and how smart trolls can be when they target the right group of gullible morons aka twitter.
