I am one class away from a master's. I will be 71.
Not at all! I went back for a Ph.D. at twenty-eight.
I got my master's when I was 28 and my Ph.D. when I was 36.
I got my master's degree when I was 102.
Yoking aside, I'm 56 (I think, laugh) and Im enrolled in Nutrition program
Why on earth would you even imagine it was? Plenty of people do master's degrees in their 30s, 40s, and 50s.
27 is quite young. A lot of master's candidates are much older.
In my graduate program, which awarded both master's degrees and PhDs, we had a lot of people starting in their 30s.
Nah, I'm 22 and only in high school.
Not at all. I went back last semester at 28 to finish my undergrad...it’s never too late...do it now that you’re still young
nope , my son in law got hes masters at 35 , never to old .
No, not at all. Although many students do go from their undergrad studies to Grad school, there many who work for some years first.
My nephew and his wife are in their 30’s and both are doing a Masters degree while working full time will a 17 month old. My niece got her masters degree in her 30’s.
One of my friends got his Masters degree at age 50.
I got one in 2017 at 35, so no. Half my Master’s students are in their 50s and 60s.
27 is still good you can be done before 30 71 is pathetic no need for a masters degree old man.
Not at all, it's the appropriate age
Go for Master's Degree
Best of Luck:)
I was complaining about starting my bachelor's program at the age of 30 and berating myself for being such a late bloomer.
My professor told me she started her master's program at the age of 44. That shut me up.
Do what you need to do at your own pace, at your own time.
I was 31, and my wife was 47 when she got hers. We both had enviable careers in the federal government, and when my wife died, President Obama wrote to me a very heartfelt letter. This conception held by youth that somehow your degree is devalued if you do not earn it by a certain age is bulls**t, plain and simple.
No it is not. It's actually a good age to get a Master's Degree.
No way! If that’s what you want to do then you should go for it.
Not at all. I know people who retire and get MA of MSc as a hobby.
@not: what a limited perspective you have.
You're never too old. I started my masters at 26. I have a friend who started her masters at 28. It's never too late.
Versus being 27 and not getting one?
no that is young.............
i would say,
it is the appropriate age.
No. I was 47 when I finished my my bachelor's degree. I was 27 when I earned my second bachelors degree and STARTED graduate school in January 1981.
No. Michelle Obama did not get his Master's Degree until he was 31
Yes, unless you're 24, it will be worthless. Enjoy working retail.
