When will my etrade funds be available to invest?

I put money on several days ago, they just now took the money off my bank account, but I still cant trade with the money that's clearly on etrade. Why does it take so long??

You start trading instantly on robinhood.

Short of having several accounts on E Trade, it takes a couple of days to 'Clear'.

I'm guessing you are a new customer?
I get immediate availability at fidelity and transfers take 4-6 hours.
