Was Ronald Reagan a dictator?

Reagan was more a figurehead than a dictator.  His policies were those of the Republican Party at the time.  Reagan made Americans feel secure by joking and using his Hollywood sophistication.

No, but he did break a few laws. 

No. He was one of the greats.

No. He made a lot of deals with House Speaker Tip O'Neill. That was how he got a lot of legislations passed even though he did not have control of both Houses in Congress. In contrast, Jimmy Carter had trouble with Congress even though it was controlled by Democrats.
