i see alot of people on here claiming to be atheists when they clearly are not so I think its important that we discuss the meanings of a few words.
If you just claim that you do not believe in the existence of a God or Gods you are an atheist.
If you do claim neither faith nor disbelief in a god or Gods because you feel that a Gods existence is impossible for a human to know you are an agnostic.
If you run around saying God does not exist and have a problem with religion and religious people you are an anti-theist,
I am personally agnostic.
Atheists. Do you actually understand the meaning of what you are claiming to be?

ATHEIST - someone who does not believe in a God – any God – not just the Christian one. But that does not mean they do not hold strong moral or religious beliefs! They can follow any religion that does not have a god and there are a lot of those!
AGNOSTIC – Does not believe anything can be know about or proved about a god. Thus they can still believe a god exists. This description obviously fits a lot of Christians!

If you get bored with church for a while and decide to break all the rules but never actually stop believing, you're not an atheist. There seem to be loads of "former atheists" who are really just believers who went through a rebellious period.

Actually I am glad you finally understand the two terms. Athesits are not "running around" doing anything for yours (apparently unlike ours) is not a threat to us in any way. To be "anti" anything one would need to find significance in it and we don't find any significance in any of the many Theism and are most certainly not threatened by the free choices of others like so many Theists are.
