A question about a movie called "The Matrix"?

Neo was supposed to be a saviour like Jesus who could be human and computer program-like at the same time.
The matrix is a computer program designed by aliens to keep humans who are living below ground and being used as power supplies, amused so they won't all just die from lack of brain activity.

The Matrix is a world designed to give purpose to Human. As per movie, in distance future AI takes control, human nuke the world to cut off the power (sun light) and hope to end it. But AI deducted it and decided to harvest human body for power. It kept bodies in pod attached to different probes connected and stimulated into vitual world called 'Matrix'. As it continues, Neo was born. Human grown in artificial pod but some how got the power to change the Matrix world with his will. Morpheus, in real world, recused Neo. Machine fears and sends agents to stop Neo, but fails. In the process one agent (Smith) gain some of Neo abilities and want to take over Matrix. Machines in the end accepts Neo's help to kill the Agent in exchange Human civilization in real world will be left alone. 

Fritz Lang's 1927 classic "Metropolis".  If you ever watch it you will recognize a lot of bits that were used in assorted music videos and other media.

The Matrix is an artificial reality built to keep human minds engaged while the machines use them for energy.  Neo is a human, but as "the One" he is also a part of the Matrix.  In the ideology of Zion, the community of humans who are free of the Matrix, the One is supposed to be a savior figure who will bring victory over the machines.  But what Neo learns in the second movie is that he's actually part of their mechanism of control, as is Zion.  The Matrix, which is a dystopian version of our current world, is nearly perfect from the Machines' point of view.  But it' not totally perfect.  A small number of people reject the artificial reality of the Matrix.  If allowed to grow unchecked, this minority would eventually cause a systemic failure.  So the Machines' created a safety valve.  They invented Zion as a refuge for humans who rejected the reality of the Matrix.  And they created the legend of the One.  As explained in the second movie, there have been several iterations of Zion and the One.  Eventually, when Zion grows too big, the Machines destroy it, and they have the One keep the Matrix going via reinserting a piece of code into the program.  The One then chooses a group of humans from the Matrix to populate a new Zion and the cycle continues.  In the movies, however, Neo breaks from this plan.  The proliferation of the rogue Agent Smith program allows him the opportunity to save the Machines and bring a truce between them and the humans.

Technically speaking Neo was a CYBORG a human / machine interfaced together as were ALL the occupants of the Matrix nothing new BUT different from a  android because an android does not have human parts of any kind essentially an advanced A.I robot...
