What do you think would be good exercise for me?

I’m trying to lose weight. But here’s the underlying issues, my lungs were damaged greatly from Covid so I can’t really move. If I walk say 5 ft under my own power, my lungs stop working. So walking/treadmill is out. I do really anything physical either because of that and I’m 500 pounds and my hips are gone, and my legs cant barely support my weight anymore. To anything standing etc is out. What do you suggest? I can’t bend over, it’s way too painful. The only way I can clean is if I’m sitting in the floor. I can’t go anywhere unless I have the aid of a wheelchair or a scooter. Help!!

80% of what controls our weight is our diet. While exercise does HELP with fat loss, and is part of overall good fitness, it's not required for fat loss. Reduce your calorie intake to lose fat. As for exercise, talk to your doctor. With your health and physical limitations, no one here is qualified to advise you on what would be safe.

Well, given your medical condition, I would advise talking to your doctor.

Losing weight stored as fat requires the balance of energy taken in as food and energy used by the body to maintain metabolic activity to be highly in favour of energy used by the body.

You can achieve this in three ways:
1) Exercising to excess such that calories used exceeds calories consumed [probably out of the question in your case]
2) Reducing the amount of food consumed so that your own body is forced into metabolising stored body fat
3) A Combo of 1 & 2

The last option is an operation to remove the fat.

However, lung damage caused by Covid could also imply heart, liver, kidney and brain damage, depending on whether any blood clots have gotten into these organs from the covid damage.

You are probably on drugs to prevent clotting I imagine. Any course of action should therefore be thoroughly discussed with your GP or consultant doctor, as you would not want to do anything that might further damage your body. I'm not qualified to advise you in that regard.
