"After the draft is reinstated, will women still be feminists? In an era of equality, women are exempt from draft registration?"

The largest group of anti-suffragettes (people who were against the vote for women) were women themselves who were afraid that their Right to vote would come with the same Responsibility that men had to fight and die in war in order for them to get the vote.  But of course, that never happened.  Ever since then, feminism has followed this course of fighting for Rights without Responsibilities, and calling -that- "gender equality".

Why would this be any different?  Equality of Responsibilities would be a step backwards for feminists now.  That would mean the loss of a monumental female privilege.

A judge ruled exempting women from selective service was unconstitutional.  Apparently the constitution isn’t enforced when ignoring it benefits women.   

Women want equality until they have to be responsible or selfless. 


...or until the bill comes... 

Women should not be exempt from any draft if they insist on being equal with men.  If a man has to learn how to kill, then so should women  -  but I have to say it's not a very feminine thing to do.

Yes, they willingly consign themselves to active service. You act as if there aren't already women serving in the military and as if there is a draft ongoing. Neither is the case. 

I cant speak for all feminists but I am all for women registering. Its actually sad that I cant speak for all of us but there are some "feminists" who only want equality when it benefits them. That's not what equality is.  

I'm a woman but not a feminist. If the draft is reinstated I'd be down to fight if I was needed.

The Military are very sexist and have been making up all sorts of excuses of why women aren't suitable to join in their gang.  I'm all for Drafting everyone over the age of 18...
