yes he and brees have reached their peak as duo.

Are you INSANE???  Do you not know anything about Saints history and how historically bad this franchise was before Payton?  Only Jim Mora and Payton have done well there, and Payton has that team consistently competitive.  The problem is Brees.  Brees is over the hill, and the franchise is trying to let him go out on his own terms...y'know, being decent to him.  But Brees needs to retire.
