Question about Hell's Kitchen tv series?

I dont know about Hell's Kitchen but here in the UK, the latest series of The Great British Bake Off, it appeared they didnt observe social distancing, but they did explain that all contestants had been quarantined before filming began, and had formed a bubble throughout production, they didnt leave or see their families etc

The last series was very poor as it seems they didnt have the best bakers, merely those wiling to be away from their families for the duration

The new seasons  are taped   in  advance. There was no social distancing over a year ago. this is when Gordon taped all of the new shows for the new season...

I haven't seen any show (besides game shows) where they seem to be social distancing, so I don't know why Hell's Kitchen would.
