Maximum negative pressure in crystalline solids?
I read somewhere that the pressure inside crystalline solids can be negative, with a theoretical maximum, in absolute value, of around 10^(10) Pa. How do they evaluate that maximum? I can't find any article about this by googling.

On a "Science in Poland" site, there's a description of some findings of negative pressures up to about -200 atm (2 x 10^7 Pa). Keep searching...
